The Lakehead Adult Education Centre at 125 Lillie Street South offers a range of high school credits as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) programs for new Canadian residents. Heritage language programs are also available. It’s never too late to learn—explore the adult education options with Lakehead Public Schools right now. Our mission is to serve a diverse multicultural and multi-aged community with the highest quality of education. 

Lakehead Adult Education Centre partners with Keewatin-Patricia District School Board to provide adult education high school credit courses. Sites are located in Drydren, Kenora, Sioux Lookout, Ignace and Red Lake. We also have an adult education class held weekly in Nipigon. For more information call 1-877-625-5145 (toll free)

If you are over 18 years of age and are out of regular day school and you would like to complete your high school education and receive your diploma, then come in and see what we have to offer.  Ask about credits or Mature Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (M-PLAR). Prepare for University, College or the workplace by improving your skills and marketability.
